Moto F3 to T-mobile

Moto F3 to T-mobile

I recently purchased an unlocked Moto F3 , it has two frequencies 800 & 1800. When I put my T-mobile Sim it is not working? Do I need to do any thing special to activate the phone? If I cannot use it then it will be money waste
