Lack of ringtones for LG 8700

I just ported to Verizon and got an LG 8700. I went to the website to buy a couple ringtones, but was surprised that many of the ones I would be interested in aren't available for the 8700. They are on the site, but get filtered out when I select the 8700 model.

Is it just a matter of time for VZW to certify ringtones on each device? If so, how long? Or is this device somehow not compatible with many of the ringtones? Or?
