Im on Monthly contract, flext 25+ web and walk plus
my phone is a Sony ericsson k800i
I live in West Green, Messingham (DN17 3QT)
I can get a 3g signal in the kitchen window but not in my bedroom, my bedroom window faces west and my kitchen window north
the main reason i got the phone with the web and walk plus was to use the phone as a modem via broadband speeds, but i lose my 3g signal as soon as i go in the hallway!!
i contacted cs and they said it dosent look like the area will be upgrading anytime soon but looking at the covergae map there is strong 3g coverage just outside my street!!
is there anything i can to to get it to pick up the 3g signal at all, i connect to the phone when using it is a modem via a bluetooth dongle connected to my pc, so ive got 10 metres about to better position the phone, is there any 'hack' as such to temporairly increase the phones reception so it can pick up the 3g signal, any ideas at all people?
