I just purchased a new Blackjack that had the $250 Equipment Discount conditions at the beginning of the AT&T Terms and Conditions contract, which says the reseller can tag your credit card for $250 without preapproval if you break the terms. One of the conditions is that I "do not cancel or deactivate the Email/Data feature if one was required at purchase. I have heard various posters comment on these requirements and have been unable to get clarification on my stiuation, and unfortunately I am dealing with a less than perfect reseller(CellularChoices - Inphonic). When I bough the BJ I signed up for the $29.99 PDA Personal data plan(20mb). On the first day of my activation I called AT&T and upgraded to PDA Unlimited - $39.99. Since I actually upgraded to a bigger plan and I still in compliance - their verbage about canceling/deactivating is a bit confusing since you do have to cancel one data plan when adding another.

If there are any retailed out there that can comment based upon fact, as well as provide any more details I would greatly appreciate it.
