Orange internet sucks

I've had a Nokia N95 for a while now, but I bought it sim free to give me more choice over networks and give the phone a better resale value. I'm on a standard orange 2G sim card and have been happily for about 10 years.

Disgusted and confused to find out today that you can't upgrade to 3G without buying a new phone too! This is rediculous! Orange must be missing out on so much custom, i'd spend copious amounts of money on their 3G services given the chance. If I was to buy an N95 on Orange 3G, they've disabled the VOIP functions on the phone which sucks too... What are they playing at?

The reason behind this rant is i've just been trying to download voice commands for the maps on the n95, realised there was a high cost for downloading on GPRS, but I don't think anyone realises how extreme these costs are: without any exageration I just spent £6.52 in less than a minute, what a rip off! And to top things off, the feature on their website which lets you add credit from a debit card has NEVER EVER worked, the page always comes up with an error message and has done for more than a year! Pffff!

Thinking about moving to 3, I had a 3 phone a couple of years ago and the network was poor, but I've heard that recently it's much more comprehensive... Their internet is also gotta be alot cheaper!
