Signal Strength/capability with NDI firmware

Since flashing, I think my a835 has been less capable of picking up a 3G signal.

For example I can have a NEC e808 showing full strength (4 bar) 3 signal, and my a835 can't even lock onto the network - a network search often doesn't show anything.

It does sometimes find 3G but seems pretty hit/miss.

Anyone else seeing this with modified fw?
