Memory card and SMS messages

Is there anyway I can make my 616 default to storing SMS on the Memory Stick Duo?

I want to do this as when my normal Inbox fills up, I start "losing" SMS messages (i.e. it tells me I have a message, but it never appears in the Inbox). This is probably because I haven't got around to updating the Firmware to the latest version.

Any ideas?
